Yeah we are still trying to figure that one out. Funny thing we were talking about the fade thing the other night.

I've seen one painted and it looked good. Whatever you choose will work. Though if you have other cf bits it will tie in better.

So how do the JDM lights work. Looks like the lens next to the grill is the low beam and the outside one is the highbeam?

Also, it looks like the depo lights do not come with any high beam wiring. What am I missing.

I just ordered those depo replica Jdm lights, we'll see how they end up. I don't have my hopes set too high though

They look decent from the photos they posted. My main concern is the projector lens and the housings quality. I already did a retrofit on my Bugeye lights and I love the output and cut off, but I always had a thing for the JDM lights.

That's my concern, but if anything I'll retrofit them with better ones.

The lens next to the grille is the low beam, the lens on the outside is the turn signal, the top is the high beam.

The 9005 plug with the red and black wire are for the high beam. There is no high beam bulb installed in the pictures.

Looks like they're fully plug and play.

Depo's lamps are usually good quality. They are the OEM for many cars.

It also looks like the DEPO JDM lamps use the same front lens as their USDM lamps. This means the lens wont be swappable to Subaru Ichicon JDM lamps, but if you crack a DEPO JDM lamp you can replace it with the lens from their USDM lamps which are $160.

Depo lights have a good reputation in the BMW community. I ran some in one of my old M3s and it was very good quality.

Thanks! So that explains why people don't run JUN eye lids on the JDM lights.

Please update after you get, install, and use them. I am very interested in these since my stockers are getting crappy and I've always wanted that look. Not paying a grand though for headlights but these will do.

I ran the jun eyelids on mine last night and turned my brights on, and thought "why are these not bright anymore???" Then remembered I had the eyelids on haha. They really cut the brightness to almost 40%

Which is unfortunate. I love the eye lids, but I also love the JDM's. Decisions, decisions........
