Not exactly. The outlet in the VF52 uses a two bolt flange instead of a slip on connector. The TMIC, intake manifold and throttle body would all have to be changed. Really not worth it.

Not to mention fuel system upgrades, ECU upgrades, etc.

I bought the car with all the main upgrades, but he swapped the turbo back to stock. I have a fmic but im not sure if it will fit right. Is it possible?

Anything is possible. He's just saying its not going to bolt up like a vf39 or vf43

You could sell the vf52 and get one of those turbos

Try it and let us know how it goes!

This is horrible advice!

Sell your buddy's turbo to an owner of an 08 wrx, buy a turbo that fits your car!

I'm going to say it could be possible, but I'm not expert on bugeyes and could be wrong... If the main difference is the connection point, I'd say contact import image and see if you can get just the connection point off they're 08+ fms fmic... Then just get the two fmic pieces welded together... Idk how practical that is, but I'd say its possible...

anyone got pictures of the bugeye rear WITHOUT a bumper on?
i wanna see what the bumper beam looks like and where exactly it's located

Fiiiiiiiiiiiinally have some pics of this project I've been working on. Don't feel like it's done, but I do feel like I reached a good milestone. Everything is deleted except for ABS, PS, and AC, because this is a real DD, I don't want to lose those things

Oh yeah, I totally agree. It's a future plan but with a baby on the way in NINE DAYS (AHHH HOLY CRAP!) all the money is going towards that end
