Meh. Ive built probably 200 pairs of headlamps for people on NASIOC when I worked with a lighting vendor.

I built these in 2008. Going to refresh them (repaint the bezels, remount the projectors higher up in the bracket, polish and clear the front lenses) before I sell them.

The back half of the projectors are from a 2005 Honda S2000. The front half are from a 2002 Honda S2000. Bulbs are out of a Movie Projector.

Im going to miss driving with these.

Woo. Why'd you use different parts for the s2k projectors? I'd probably mod mine with those but I'm lazy and don't really wanna spend the money right now.

The AP2 Back halves provide better light output and have a better cutoff.
The downside is that the AP2 uses a fresneled lens which then dulls that cutoff.

The hybrid projector is the best of both worlds.

50W bulb as opposed to a standard 35W Automotive bulb.

The bulb has "NON AUTOMOTIVE USE ONLY" stamped right on it.

Hey Vision, what would you charge me to pull my JDM lights apart and clean them? The one is kinda cloudy on the inside and the lenses could use a really good wetsand/buff. No painting, just a freshening up.

Depends on whats causing the cloudiness on the inside of the lens. Very common its from people using silicone to seal the lamps back together after they've been split apart. DO NOT DO THIS. Silicone releases caustic fumes as it dries that can etch the plastic lenses and reflector bowls in headlights!

From a cost standpoint, its not really worth it, especially now with the scarcity of the parts. The S2000 replica projectors are pretty close. When I built these I didnt have those options.
