LMAO! Orange Julius thats classy.. Yeah I have the tenzos at the powdercoater right now.. Once we dial in the suspension they will fill out the stretch in the body panles better than the V7s. I might run a spacer with the V7 down the road or sell them out right.

Why not? If there's something I should know about it please speak on it. It was recommended by a Subaru shop awhile back. Now that I think of it I have been running the Rotella T triple protection. I had no idea they made a synthetic!! I will be doing an oil change this weekend and will be switching to the synthetic.

It is getting warmer but in the winter we see temps in the low to high 30's. What viscous should I switch to for the summer months, May to Sep?? It's usually between 70-90 degrees for those months.

Well I live in Hawaii. We get winters as cold as 65. LOL and its pretty much warm most of the time. I used to use the 5W30 as recommended but that seemed too thin to me. I changed to 10W30 a while back and it seems to be ok. It acts like 10 weight oil in the cold times and a 30 weight oil at high operating temperatures. 10W covers the range of 5W. The 10W will help with cold starts in the colder months.

Like you my normal temps are in your range from 70-90

I don't have a recommended oil grade for you specifically.

I was just asking why that specific grade. Not why the brand. Brand means nothing to me if it doesn't work for my application. I use Amsoil exclusively. Never had a problem.

Isn't the triple protection a diesel oil? The 5w40 T6 is the only full synthetic.

Rotella T Triple Protection is just a couple notches lower in the line (essentially a "T4" using their nomenclature).

I thought the Rotella line of oils was for diesels.

I use orphan tears in my car for oil....did I just type that out loud.

Need more bugeye pics ill contribute. Wheels aside this car is exactly what I had pictured in my head for the last couple years as my perfect bugeye. So close to being done now and with the good weather starting to get in I'm getting the itch...I hear they make a comb for that.

Can't wait to start seeing it in magazines

I am happy to report that my Bugeye is back from the dead after a quick coil pack switch. Now to install certain items in certain boxes sitting on the table... :-D

It's marketed to diesels and semi trucks.
