Is there a sticky somewhere that has an UTD list of all the model codes etc?

The super thick ones like TXS, Vishnu, APS or similar should use any type with a center diverter but you'll need to trim the bottom "seal" area because it'll make direct contact with the intercooler and eventually rub a hole.

Awesome thank you! I've been going for years without a splitter at all but I am going to add one soon.

First I need to figure out my rusted out BPM downpipe situation.

Test fit first before buying if you can. The only thing you need is INSIDE scoope area and allow it to rest on top the intercooler rather than blacking it off.

I would say if you get aftermarket TMIC just get a process west or grimmspeed splitter.....depends on what scoop you have...

I just realized that today I became a scooby specialist. Is this based on time?

....or because I own a bugeye.

Well if it happened today, it doesn't make sense.

Unless its 555 posts and 3 years + 3 months?

555 posts, 5000 to guru

Nasioc OT used to not count towards Specialist/Guru status because people would drive up enough posts in a day... I feel like Bugeye Thread kind of works that way too (though I hit guru before this thread was a thing )

You are going to love the roof vent it is one of my fav mods. If I had to go back to stock and only retain one cool mod it would be my vent.

Im running a normal V7 STi spliter duct and seal on a V8 TMIC.
off topic, but you have the exact same hand writing as me... lol

Run over to NAPA. They have 2-stage clear coat in a rattle can. "Spray max" is the brand. Has a little red "button" on the bottom. Crush that in, it mixes inside the can, and you have 20hrs to spray before it turns hard.

Stuff is legit! Just like what the real body shops use! It lays down nice and you can wet sand after.

Here's a shot of what I did with some.

All your progress today won't matter if you don't wake up tomorrow...

It's best to use the clear after the base color has had time to dry. Especially with silver, it's easy to "blow" the color around with the clear if its still wet. Tomorrow will be fine.
