if you guys are going to paint your own stuff why not invest in some cheap paint guns from harbor freight an spray your parts with that. shopline has a clear that's nice an has uv in it for 70 dollars a sprayable gallon. plus ull be able to use that clear for a while since you will be mixing in the hardner. napa also will paint match your stuff for you and mix you paint in a sprayable version or aerosol. I paint cars for a living an I can see the can clear getting dull and the paint flaking due to lack of adhesion promoter just my .02

also to anyone with painted parts with flaking paint ask whoever is spraying these items to put some flex additive in to the paint an make sure they adhesion promote and scuff the raw parts

You even say GDB is blobeye... but whatevers. When I'm searching for stuff overseas, typically searching "GDA" finds bugeye parts and searching "GDB" finds blobeye stuff.

Looks like some apocalyptic style editing

EDIT: Also can someone answer this question. Why can I see avatars on my phone/ipad but I cannot see them on the computer?

Thanks for posting up info on the two stage clear - I need to repaint my trunk and may just try this out

PS: If anyone here is planning to do a bixenon projector HID retrofit, I have the relay sold by TRS required for the wiring. It is BNIB and never even taken out of the packaging -- but I will gladly sell for less than what TRS asks. So PM me!

I bought an extra by accident and was too busy/lazy/sidetracked to return it. D'oh!

Work Eurolines? Interesting... Car has kind of a time attack style, those drifters with VIP wheels usually rock VIP-ish kits and wing treatment... Then again one of my favorite supras had rear VIP wheels because nothing else that wide (like x13) . Curious to see it if anything

They're ssr vienna's. Very similar. And I really like em. I think it's going to fit very well once the whole thing is put back together. I wish I could fit a 13! But I think a 19x11 with a +3 offset is pretty much maxed for the rear ofmy car.

In HyperRev Impreza magazine, the notation is consistent with what iNfEk states.
GD is the sedan, GG is the wagon (no one disputes that)
Within the GD and GG family, the 3rd character denotes the tune level (e.g. WRX vs WRX STi). The 4th character is called "applied model"; A & B are the 1st & 2nd years of the bugeye, C & D are blobeye, and so on.

Japanparts is also somewhat consistent in this regard (http://www.japanparts.com/db/maker.php?maker=Subaru), but this doesn't mean that all vendors use the correct notation.

It gets a bit confusing because the VIN number captures some of this detail in a different way.

Exactly.

For a bugeye between applied model A and B there were a exterior differences. Beyond that the changes weren't as significant that I'm aware of. Then again... I own a bugeye so that's the only applied model codes I care about. LOL

Good ****. That's all that really matters. Are you planning on painting the car anytime soon?

Get some nice day time shots so we can get a better grasp of what's going on, please. :-)
