Black mirrors > pee pee fogs lol
I guess I'm just being picky but for the amount of money one spends on an STi or "S" series car in japan the least they can do is have paint matched parts like mirrors and or side skirts if applicable since the s202 didn't come with side skirts. It really doesn't add much weight. I suppose we all have our own opinions.

So, guys, other than my coolant leak which I have yet to track down. Whilst driving my car today I noticed a very high pitched whine coming from basically right in front of me. And this one I KNOW what it is, it's the right side bolt of my BPV. I know the hole is mostly stripped but i can get some threads to catch but not very much, basically to the point that it holds on but doesn't HOLD if that makes sense, I could just keep turning it all day long. I even went out and bought longer bolts, still no dice.
So what are my options? Try to get another even longer bolt? Try and re-tap the threads in the hole? Or am I f***d and might as well buy a new TMIC and turn the APS piece into some kind of art like the TD04 sitting on the floor next to me awaiting me turning it into a lamp?

Heli-coil should do it.

High pitched noise usually is exhaust leak when you boost. More so from the up pipe. I'd try to thread it again if you can. If not you'll need to go bigger on one side. Be careful since you can **** **** up more here. APS piece? What're you talking about. The BOV?

You need to fix one thin at a time. Leaking fluids are more important than a sound. Start with one thing and STOP jumping around!

Well I would hope its not an exhaust leak, Its a brand new TBE, of course that doesn't mean anything either I could have effd something up there, But I don't think so. The sound is literally right in front of me when I'm driving, looked up a couple youtube vids of the same EXACT sound, and they all say the fix they found was a loose bolt, and I KNOW I have a loose bolt. So I'm almost 100% sure that's that problem.
The "APS piece" I mention is the TMIC itself. I'm not trying to sound like I'm jumping around I know it seems that way. I KNOW the leaking fluids is more important than a tiny vac leak. I took off the coolant reservoir to turbo hose today, its pretty chewed up on the inside. And left some rubber gunk on the reservoir nipple when I took it off. Tomorrow I will take off the turbo line and see if its clogged up. Which wouldn't really explain the leak, but would probably explain the boiling coolant feeling I got after I drove it around the block today.
I'll stop clogging up the thread with my words now. Apologies.

Turbos get hot. I hear my fluid boil sometimes on a hard run. Just don't lose sight of what's important and get the car running right and don't call it quits.

I even went through the other two previous laptops to see if I saved anything on them and came up empty handed. Sucks because there use to be a bunch of cool little DIY's on that site.

buy the complete heli-coil kit for the OEM bolt size. it will have the drill-bit, tap, heli-coil and tool. use thread locker to install. Pull the IC off to tap. hold the IC bolt hole down and blow out after tapping. This way you get any trash out being that shavings aren't conducive to longevity. Use a new gasket and use the proper torque on the bolts.

Man, that car is clean... I personally would leave the front end just the way it is. Maybe just a front lip to set it off... Very nice though

There's some possibility it won't be a direct fit if that's a genuine S7 bumper (don't know for sure but I know the s7 grill/hood lines where the two meet are a little different from production model). But PLEASE make it work/modify to get that to fit. Incredibly badass part that will look amazing

=\ oh well. They still make the knock link in a newer version might look into that. The price tag though is kinda high just for a light. We will see
