Most of us don't live on glass roads. I managed to break my real V2 within 4 months with the car much higher than his!

LOL, I've been but never paid attention. Even on REALLY good roads I scrapped on humps on the road that were not even visible to the human eye. I'd be randomly driving and "kkkkkrrrr". And my car was lowered on OEM Subaru springs that lowered the rear of the car more than the front. Nevermind coils!

Whatever it's like, it's got nothing on Winnipeg roads.

Broke ass city and the temperature fluctuates literally 60'C from summer to winter. You can imagine the hell it causes on the concrete contracting/expanding, and our city just can't afford to fix or pour it properly in the first place.

Brand new roads are trashed within a year of being poured.

i'm going to venture a guess that rather than follow that line and have to decide if you want the door handles looking ridiculous because they are one color or the other or having the hassle of taping them off to be half painted (just as ridic imo) he chose to follow the higher line on the body that the mirror makes on the upper fender. that would require less taping, no paint on the doors, and an overall cleaner look.
