The basic laws of physics a heavier rotating mass will always take more effort to spin up and keep spinning. Even on the highway. Althoguh flushing tires has some aerodynamic advantages I would suspect.

As far as track... wider is better to a point, but less unsprung weight makes a large difference in the reaction speed of your suspension, but it has to be dialed in with proper spring rates and valving to work right. Just like all your angles have to be right to get quicker turn in times etc.

This stuff is race proven tech over years.

My only point in all of this?

There really isn't one
. Its your car do what makes you happy.

Me... I always lean to performance over pretty. So my arguments always lean that way too.
Please spare us.....

Yeah, emissions testing (for me at least) is great...Newer cars do have their advantages, but I'd call you crazy if you traded your car for a bugeye. I might be able to forgive you if it were for a wagon though...

This was all done before college, now I cant afford gas....it sucks, I'm not even lying.... college is pretty damn expensive.
I see your'e from Chicago, any meets you know of ?lo

I really should change that to Des Plaines haha. I'm young (21) and relatively new to the community. Only got my subie this past July but there are one or two meets that are pretty regular in the area. The one you would want is probably the one right in Schaumburg . I havent been able to join them since I've been at WIU for school, but they seem like a cool group.

It's from a '03 Mazdaspeed Protege.
My buddy was getting rid of one and I liked the look of it better than the stock WRX/STI wings.
I like it other than the fact that it's orange underneath the top coat of paint, which means any chip or scratch in it sticks out like a sore thumb.

What kind of headlight covers do you have on there? Also any thoughts on upper radiator hose replacement brand for 02 wrx?

They are carbon fiber and the whole cars being painted within the month. Not blue so the carbon will look good and they aren't eBay either lol
