Haha, I actually have an Ebay V-limited front lip sitting in my garage waiting to go on. Just haven't gotten around to it.

Actually, the VF39 I bought has seen an 11.89 pass already. I am pretty confident in my driving, the car already has an 06 6 speed, an ACT HD street clutch, runs on E85, and has a full exhaust except the header. Not to mention it is getting tuned by STi Mikey. I won't pull the turbo off the car until it see's an 11 second pass. Guess we'll see what happens.

Planning on it! I've been sick the past couple days but I would like to get started on it before the weekend. Extremely excited to get it done, the faceplanting TD04 is just boring

^^Looks Great! Makes me want to paint my side skirts today. Does anyone know what that little black thing is for in front of the back wheels above the skirt? I hate that its black and I'm thinking if i need to have it i'll paint it to match but i kinda want to remove it. Has anyone done this?

Supposedly it's to prevent rock chips. It's also a pain in the ass to remove because the clip will probably break.

Makes sense... you can see high 12's on a stock wrx with a TD04.

As for the STI trans, yeah its stronger, but I suspect the gear split in a built 5 speed is much better for drag. Less shifting and all that.

There are 2 holes behind them, I would advise just painting them white.

The 5 speed is geared better for the drag strip, no doubt about that. I bought the 6 speed because I probably won't ever have to worry about breaking it and the short gears make it extremely fun to drive.

^ I hope that the drunk driver looses his license, has to pay the STI owner 10K more than the car is worth... then they rape him in jail.

I feel so bad for him. He loved that car and I did too. But I know he'll bounce back with something even bigger and better

There is also >100 lbs of added weight with 6 speed and one extra gear to shift.

I'd love to see you run 11s. Please keep us posted.
