its the same finish on WRC cars and many other race cars, at the end of the day if it gets faded you can just re-flock right over it.

Unfortunately, this service is not offered in Hong Kong. So I will need to try a DIY job.

Do you have pics of the process?

I helped flock a buddies dash and that was really all there was too it. Quite simple. Sorry you seem to think it's more than just what he posted.

Clean up the service, apply adhesive and sprinkel away. Now I will say that anyone doing it will pick up the nack of avoiding thin spots (in about 30 seconds) but there's nothing hard, special or 'more to it than that' involved.

Sorry you're not a DIY guy noTe....I guess we'll leave that for the ricers...hold on, I thought ricers paid guys to do easy, simple, idiot proof jobs

If you think that Flocking is hard. It's no more difficult than changing your oil. Although that can be "messy" too so Im sure you dont do that either.

Exige:

I didnt link Directly but if you have questions just pm me- To make sure you have enough for the dash and to do it right this is what I would order:

Order the "enhanced Mini Flocking Kit" - 2 bags of Nylon though no Rayon and order yourself an extra Cardboard flocking tube so you can have a friend help.

You can search for DIY there's a few- but if your not DIY handicapped like NoTe - just pull your dash out, wipe it clean with some alcohol, brush on the glue (be VERY liberal with it) and then start dumping the fibers on as quick as possible. Let it cure for 3 days before you go handling it again though-. I would lay large sheets of plastic underneath so you can just gather up the shavings when your done.

I think one of my favorite parts of this thread is seeing GC8s in these really nice neighborhoods where I'd expect to see audis, bmws, etc. Woot for subaru love!
