Last time I checked, my car still drives

I never even said anything about my car anyways, I'm saying people need to research into parts more. Megan, JIC, Stance, APC, Weapon R... all in business because people go the cheap route with parts.

note, I bought my struts in 2005. they lasted this long so i never had any problems with them until now. i drive the piss out of them all the time. Touge, drift, gymkhana... i'm just gladed that this happen at the track and not in the mountains or any public road.

and i believe any suspension will go bad after lots of abuse... if it last 6months or 10yrs, no matter what they will still go bad or worn out. so my next set of suspension will be KTS.

I totally agree with you... but regardless they shouldn't just snap and break. I could see the dampers going but nothing snapping causing you to crash your car

yeah, no kidding... they shouldn't just do that. i got some stock red struts that i can install for now until i get the new suspension.

I just don't want to spend too much on coilovers that may or may not last 6-9 yrs. even after researching any brand. i think a good $800 to $1000 for be good around price for a set. i will also make it a habit for me to buy brand new suspension every 5 yrs. just sell the old set and move on. i won't buy used suspension anymore.

Typically I heard you should have race coilovers re valved every 2-3 years. I plan on buying custom valved AST coilovers from TiC in the spring. Call up TiC, they will recommend you some good stuff.

These two comments right here emphasizes that you don't know what you're talking about.

You put JIC in the same category as APC and Weapon R. Sorry bud, but JICs are a $1500-$2500 coilovers. And Megan and Stance are still better than anything made by APC or Weapon R.

Also, remember you drive a ****ing SUBARU, and an Impreza L at that, not a PORSCHE or BMW. Though based upon your level of douchebaggery, you would probably be better fitted in one of those two vehicles.

You are infestation that needs to be exterminated.

Back in the dzay, JIC's were on the higher end of performance suspensions & still are imho. Certainly theres better setups, prodrive, leda, bilsteins etc etc, but if you dont have a dedicated race car, theres no need to spend 4k.

Besides, 7 years & the way he drives his car, im impressed they lasted that long.
