A little front view of my ride in full winter mode.

Bonus pics from a little ice track day. Decent line-up, don't you think?

the r180 went in seemlessly with the hybrid axles (GR outers & jdm v7 inners) in my 08 wrx with 05 STI 6MT and DSS CF driveshaft.

and i swapped the ugly looking subie airbag with the GVB STI airbag and matching audio controls today. ( i have a GVB/red stitched steering wheel for sale)

Your shift knob match your intercooler piping? I like.
Jealous of that push to start and the blacked out audio control buttons. Flows so much better.

thank you, sir! the shift knob matches the brembos, jdm intake manifold, and a couple accent pieces under the hood. i actually just got the piping in from the powder coaters to my shop but that's a surprise for later!

its not an "aircover". it's the GVB airbag - all one piece, sir. picked it up from a yard in tennessee, i think it was.

ughhhhh... stretched. Looks like they belong on a beat up 240sx with a crappy fender roll/pull. Don't get this look.

both styles (stretched and meaty) look great imo. i know paikman can pull it off; you should see other pics of his GR.

let me know how fitting 10.5" +15 wide 5x114.3 wheels is on your base impreza =)

trolling aside it is difficult to fit a "real" tire once you actually go low/not typical nasioc height, very aggressive fit.
I am not doing this to have 275/285's on the street (equally useless as stretched tires btw). I am doing this to push the fit boundary for this chassis just as a personal goal, as I started to do in 2008.

I did have "real size" tires though on my volk TE37SL's here :

or my Wedsport TC105N's

last set up was these, 19x10 Advan RS-D , little bit less stretch then the new set up here.

Have been a fan of your ride since I first saw it on here actually, looks killer and I love your other wheel fitments. Just not a fan of the slammed/stretched look, but maybe you'll pull it off. Wish I had your wheel budget, but then I wouldn't be driving a base impreza either!

Cheers!

I definitely understand. I was just putting into perspective of why I go that way . I've tried before to have both worlds and it's definitely tough on stock body. I think the only real person that's done it on GRB chassis is lschlegs.
dont mind the base impreza comment, that was just a shot back at the 240sx one =P
