Default Why is there so many AP's for sale in the classfields ?

like topic says..

People seem to get rid of them very fast. What's the reason...?

Is it that you are limited to only two map upgrades?
Protune's or protuners are hard to find ?
Gains are not worth it ?
Why ?

thx
Pat

I think there are 2 reasons for most cases:

-They change their turbo and go for protune
-Sell the AP put the ~$500 in pocket and go Open source

The AP v2 is a nice piece of hardware. You are buying the hardware and its capabilities. When you think about it that way it can be worth the money. It is best when permanently mounted in the car, and is even more useful if you like to do DIY road tuning (realtime tuning capability).

If all you want to do is flash an OTS and throw the AP in a closet then it may not be the right solution for you.
