Default Misc Electronics + Stuff (Consolidation thread)

NEW PRICES 7/31/2010 - all prices reduced.

I'll be updating/adding stuff as I continue cleaning up - all prices are OBO except the breitling watch which is no longer made in titanium.

Prices do NOT include PP fees or shipping+insurance. I will be in Houston, Austin, and Dallas all with in the next 2 weeks so if you want something and are between san antonio and one of those locations I should be able to deliver.
  1. Alpine PDX-5 Amplifier, 5 Channel, 75x4 + 300x1 - - $250 very VERY small amplifier with great, clean power.
  2. Oakley TimeBomb Automatic Watch 10-003 Black/StealthBlack - $600 - If someone is seriously interested in this - I have the original watch box and stuff somewhere - If I can't find it, I'll reduce it 100$ to $500 - The watch does have a minor scratch on the face but otherwise is in great condition. Has a display back and is fully automatic. Oakley uses the swiss made ETACHRON 25 jewell movement.
  3. Breitling Seawolf Avenger Titanium - Yellow Dial, Rubber Strap - $2750 - This is a COSC certified time piece, includes original box - has been worn very minimally and is in great condition. No scratches or damage of any kind.
  4. Invicta 4983-BL Reserve Watch, solid titanium - $650 This is a limited edition (88/500) solid titanium case, swiss Valjoux 7750 Automatic movement watch, I recently had it serviced by Invicta Switzerland so it has a new band, clasp and jewel, the band and clasp and jewell are currently covered by protective plastic - this is an exibition display back.

pretty decent, about 200-250mb/s - if you have a switch that supports jumbo frames it makes a HUGE difference and the support forums claim they can run close to wire rate.

Oscar: The titanium ones have been out of production since late 2007 - if you own one, keep it or sell it for the right price, it's not a discount watch and the titanium is considered by most to be far superior in build quality than the newer stainless cases - although the trend is highly polished stainless from breitling but frankly it's a lot of bling IMO - the new one also comes in two separate sizes, a small face and a large face, the large face is the same size as the older titanium.

The font on the face also changed, but I prefer the older font again. For a COSC time piece it's a reasonable bargain, and if you are any type of sportsman you can't bet the durability of the titanium and the 1000m water proofing (not that anyone I know actually DIVES that deep)

bump.

Make me a reasonable offer, On that one I'm flexible - The watch retailed for over 3000$, but like all invictas was on sale at some point - when I bought it, it was just over 950$ - There are loads of places that CLAIM to have this watch available and it is also replica'd pretty frequently but because of the massive amount of titanium, even the replicas are over 300$

For a titanium watch it's quite heavy, very beefy looking... The watch also has the greater part of 5 years of warranty left, and if you're a watch guy you know that nearly EVERY automatic watch uses some derivative of the valjoux 7750 movement, even some absurdly expensive watches costing more than 20k$ - the movement is well regarded as the most accurate automatic movement available - this one is swiss assembled and serviced (although there are japanese and chinese 7750 movements that are replicas)

here is the ACTUAL watch in my hand before i sent it off for service, bad lighting - the face is blue like the original photo.

Nice to know! thanks for that info.
And yes im pretty sure mine is titanium as well since it is exactly exactly the same as yours. the only thing i dont love aobut it is the rubber bracelet, i want the titanium bracelet go with it, but cant afford the ~650 bucks for it. If i would have that i would wear it every day but as of now i just wear it once in a awhile....
I agree with the polished breitlings being too much bling, i personally like the tiatnium look of more brushed look instead of the shiny, like i said if i woul dhave the TiT bracelet it would be my #1 watch choice.

Oscar:

I actually bought the watch specifically with the rubber bracelet because I needed a more casual watch. I actually don't think i've EVER seen this watch with the titanium bracelet and not sure I'd like it with it.

I'm actually starting to get out of my automatics phase, the truth is that a 25$ casio quartz watch is a far far more accurate time piece than any automatic I've owned and in fact probably any automatic made. I travel so much that the casio oceanus watches are looking pretty attractive, I just need to find a watch that knows what time zone I am in somehow...
