Default Tombstone rally cross track nearly ready

I know its taken so long, Been waiting to get the paintball park cranking then had to wait for the insurance
Now its tome to build the track
Track 1 is 1/2 mile, lots of curves to go sideways on, Track 2 is 3/4 mile, roll cage needed due to large jumps etc
We will be doing several events as part of a champianship each month as well as open track days every month , some during the day and some during the night
Also i will be doing a rally school every 3-4 months, limited to 10 students for some personal coaching etc and I will be available for 1 on 1 coaching
We also hope to have 1-2 rentals cars available for rent
Stay tuned, webb site should be up soon and we hope to be open for business within 6 weeks

great work leon. events like this are what is needed to grow the sport.

i miss going to my parents farm and driving on the rallycross track we had there.

i would love to see a Dirt Trials event series here that has higher speeds than rallycross in prepped cars. something that straddles the line between rallycross and full blown stage rally.

I emailed Leon about this a few weeks ago, I guess he has some issues with the 'city' and this is now dead in the water. he didn't say if it was zoning or what. I guess insurance/sanctioning wasn't playing nice either.

which sucks because 1) it looked like a great venue and 2) he seemed to put a bit of work into it before it got shut down.

This is not surprising to me. Leon has a history of "over promise and under deliver".

yup...and it wasn't EU RallyCross (what RallyCar is doing in NJ), this was a small venue/field for regular rally cross (cones, etc)
