Default Wow, a 2005 Legacy with 12K miles sold for 3000$ on ebay due to quarter panel damage.

D: So sad.

I would've bid on it; but quarter panel damage seem so severe. But i'd imagine 2k put into parts, and dropping it off at a place = could've fixed it.

needs at least a rebar, some front end work, airbags, probably airbag computer AND it has a salvage title in addition to 1/4 panel damage...

True, but salvage title isn't really a big deal to most people.. (I woldn't mind)

rebar = yeah.
airbag computer does not have to be replaced; just use a subie dealer diag machine to reset it. ;D.
airbags were included with the auction (or so it said) but if worse comes to worse, swap a Momo wheel lol. :P

But the front end work and quarter panel damage was so severe... still though, car went for 25K back in 05.. and only worth today 3k...

It lost 88% of it's value from 2005 in only 5 years! 17.6% per year due to it being damage... Hell for that price I could grab it and swap into a BD with engine troubles...

If it was wrecked in the front and the rear quarter panel has damage, you're looking at severe frame damage. As the seller doesn't elaborate on the accident we can't just assume the car spun in to something. Granted, its just as unfair to assume it DIDN'T but for my money I'm going to assume the worst-case scenario unless given information otherwise.

Not sure what's up with that taupe colored center console in a black interior car. Yikes, not something I'd be willing to put money into.
