Default 10' impreza shifter bushings

Anyone have feedback on shifter bushings and if they made a difference at all? Purchased them last night they should be here within the next week, just wondering if its even worth it. They will be installed with a new short throw shifter by agency power as well. Thanks.

Do 10' shifter bushings allow you to shift from outside the car or something? I'm confused about what one would do with shifter bushings that are that big.

its prob the 2010 year he means, and yes they do make a huge difference, I didnt really have a point of reference from when I installed mine because I did it the same day I came back from my deployment, but it feels solid. Oh and the rattles are normal, dont freak out

if I go driving spiritedly tonight Ill take a video, its just something Ive noticed with about 90% of short shifters in general in any car. Its only when you really get onto the car though, also, if I might add, I didnt add too much grease into the cup when I put mine it so that could be the problem for me

I came so close to saying something similar but was too lazy to click the edit button and type more. Glad someone picked up the slack.

Do you think it would void a warranty claim for the trans at all?

nah, if anything it takes 20 minutes tops to swap it back to stock, aside from bushings. Check the warranty FAQ, very few things will void your warranty, you'll just get it denied but doesn't mean you cant go back to stock and bring it back in
