I could have done without the music. Nice looking track, nice smooth pavement. Seems drivers are not taking advantage of the wide track and hitting apex's. Miss my days SCCA racing, DE, and instructing.

Yeah, I think allot of people weren't accustom to the track width, was very different than MSR Cresson where I usually run. The surface was wonderful, lots of grip.

Why did you stop?

Kids, I wanted to be able to spent time with them growing up. My son is 7 and loves cars, so when he gets older we will do something together. I still have my IT race car.

I instructed at MSR Cresson years back for the Lotus Club convention. Great technical track. Love the elevation. All of the tracks around Houston are flat or relatively flat. Ever run Hallet outside of Tulsa?

I have not done a DE in a while, but all my cars eventually see the track.

A wide track requires using all the pavement. Same as if racing an airport circuit.

Good times! Yeah I love MSR Cresson, have only been there and COTA so far, Hallet is on the list though. Also looking forward to MSR Houston sometime this year.
