Default STI ABS question

I am swapping an STi motor into my 02 WRX. I'm using all 04 STi wiring. Is the ABS compatible? looks like the plug is the same for the valves on the passenger side engine compartment, but seems like i read somewhere that I might need a new pump or something? The new harness has "G" sensors and yaw sensors and stuff. Will my set up utilize any of this stuff? I'm not swapping the transmission.

I basically have the same question - if you look on the '04 STI ABS plug there is an extra row of pins. I'm assuming it's because of the 4-pot STI vs. 2-pot calipers that you (we) are currently using.

I'm wondering if using the STI harness with all of its extra "features" is just going to cause me more future headaches!

Awsome question... I noticed the same thing. I plugged everything in, but I haven't got everything running yet.
I figured that I'd see what happens when I hook it up. If it causes problems then fix it... and if the light comes on, but I don't have problems then I'd just put tape over the light!

The number of pots would have nothing to do with the electrical system. Those extra wires just go to the dccd controller. The only wires going from harness to the actual brakes are the speed sensors and they are two wires to each wheel.
