Default check engine codes

P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

how do i know which one it is? also anything other than a bad cam sensor can cause this?

the wiring to the sensor can mess with things. I'm not sure the the ECU will complain about that specific thing if timing is off, can't hurt to check it. Fill out your profile.

its not the sensors cause its still throwing the code. i reintalled the timming belt twice and its still misfireing and throwing the code. ive replace spark plugs, wires and coil pack. it ran fine couple of times and now it doesnt. its a 2000 impreza 2.2heads on 2.5 block.

its a hybrid high compression engine alot of people do this with success. the fact that it ran perfect one second and completely horrible the next shows it most likely electronic.
