Default Will a 2008 STi exhaust fit 2008 2.5i Sedan?

Hi Guys. Quick question: Will a 2008 STi exhaust fit 2008 2.5i Sedan?

I'm looking to add a nicer sound and better look on my gf's 2.5i sedan.

There's a STi cat back exhaust on sale locally and I thought it would be a more economical way then going after market.

Thanks for any help.

Could be wrong but as far as I understand it, hatch exhausts don't fit the sedan models. I could be wrong but you may want to check into that before you drop money for the STi exhaust.

Sedan to hatch exhausts do not work....
Hatch exhaust - single muffler hung in center
Sedan exhaust - dual mufflers (one on each side)
afaik the floor pans in the rear are different

The best bet would probably be to find a WRX sedan exhaust - they can usually be found at a reasonable price.

If you do go with aftermarket - remember they're all for WRX's - none are specifically produced for an NA.
I put a Magnaflow on my car - looks awesome, but WOW for booming resonance inside the car - after a couple months
I had a resonator installed to cut back on the booming inside. Car is alot quieter overall now, but I'm much happier with
less headaches from the resonance.

Awesome thanks so much for the responses. I'll look around for a WRX exhaust instead or go aftermarket.

Shop online, thats what my mistake way, paid twice what it was worth for me it was very easy to install, didnt even have to lift the car for the mufflers themselves, though I would find a lift to do it on for ease of installation.

Also keep in mind that in order to try and get that boxer rumble that wrx and stis have you will have to probably change out the header also.
