Default Ej257 Shortblock, WRX Trans Updated Gears, Cams, Springs, misc stuff
Hey guy, I got a 04 ej257 block that was pulled due to a #3 piston failure. Piston exploded and put small metal dents in the walls that are less then 1mm deep! Should use a rebore of .20 over as said by my machien shop. Rods and bearings looked good and had no metal shavings when pulled oil pan and filter. Asking $650 Shipped.

03 WRX Trans with upgraded 1st and 2nd from 06 legacy GT(longer then stock WRX gears). Has around 50k Freeway miles. Shifts perfectly! And have Receipt from Subaru for the gears and from the trans shop that installed them! Asking 1300 OBO Plus Shipping

Stock ej205 cams looks great and have no damage 60K. Asking 80 shipped

Stock ej205 springs and retainers 60K. Asking $40 shipped

FYI, If the transmission has 3rd gear from a LGT, it also has 4th Those two gears come assembled as one piece from the factory. The 3/4 assembly is also what the speedo gear is turned by.

Correct. The block had Piston #3 explode and go into the cylinder head! So I am just going with a built block now and new heads! When I drained the oil and pulled the pan there were no metal shavings. You can still see the cross hatchings on the walls!
