If you find one, you'll find more in that area. I've found 3 total before in one area of my backyard, all within less than 1 meter apart.

On two occasions I have found messages in bottles while beachcombing. One was a love letter, the other was the reciept for the wine that formarly inhabitted the bottle it was placed in.
