Default Window will roll down but not up!?

So my rear passenger window will roll down but not up when i use the master control switch from the drivers side door. However, everything works completely fine if you try to roll it down or up from the actual switch on the door. any clue what this is?

I'm also having this problem, but both passenger windows don't roll up. Using the passenger door switches they work great. I know the switches can't possibly be worn out, it's only a 2005 WRX wagon with a mere 36k miles and the windows aren't rolled down very frequently..

I'm going to pull the switches to see if I can check the connections and test the wire continuity between the two doors.
