i have up for sale or trade my SnapOn toolbox.

1.5 years old, no dents or scratches, red, stainless steel top, stainless corner protectors, stainless drawer protectors, 2 keys, all drawers lined, have all paperwork that came with box. Box cost me close to $7500 after financing and upgrades. If i sell outright, box will be empty no tools included, NOW asking $3500 obo was asking $5000

Willing to trade for reliable daily driver, not looking to come out of pocket......really interested in Jeep wranglers and foxbody mustangs! box has some stickers on it, but will be removed, and goo gone'd to remove sticker glue.

You need to get this up in front of the right crowd if you want to realize any value recovery. You are trying to sell a snap-on tool chest to a craftsman crowd - professional equipment to shade tree wrenchers. There maybe 15 professionals on this forum, they have seen the snap-on title and moved past it.

Most of the people on here wouldn't spend $1,500 for that amount of storage brand new. I think it is a beautiful piece and would love to have one but can in no way justify that amount of money for tool storage.

Also no one cares that you needed to finance it, that is a seperate issue. Your financing is not a component of the cost of the piece of equipment and holds no value to the purchaser.

Most people don't care about the catalog picture, serious sellers put up a picture of the item actually being sold.

Don't take this the wrong way, I want to help you get more for this and the longer you try to sell it here the less you are going to get for it. You probably have dropped the price lower than you needed to already.

Take it to ebay or to racingjunk you will be much less unhappy.
