Default Newb smog question

Hey guys,
this is the first time smogging the wrx since I've owned it and I just had a couple of questions for those who have gone through the process already. A little info on the car, 04 wrx 5 spd with cat back exhaust, catless uppipe, spt intake, and AP with stage 1 flash. Will I be able to pass with this setup? Thanks for any help!

If the shop is very strict, you'll have to be stock to the eye. Meaning no CBE probably no intake. I dunno if they would know it's tuned. I know they do scan the ECU for codes. I got my WRX smogged a few months ago but I was completely stock. California kinda sucks that way.

If you don't want any hassle, put everything back to stock if you have the parts (other than the Up pipe). However, as long as nothing is wrong with your car, and your car is warm, you should have no trouble passing the sniffer test. If the SPT intake has a carb sticker, then "technically" the tech shouldn't see anything that will fail you, since both the AP and catless UP are usually not noticed.

If you have any worries, lots of shops will allow you to do a test without sending the data to the DMV, to see how your car would fare on the real test, and allow you to fix something if need be without the DMV marking your car as a gross polluter.

You will fail the visual part of Smog if the SPT intake does not have a CARB sticker on it. If it does not you may be able to call up SPT and see if they have stickers available for that modle. If your car does not have a check engine light on and all your monitors are in the "ready" state you will most likly pass wit the cat-back exhaust. Just don't mention that your uppipe is now catless.
