Default Turbo??? Help

I want to get a turbo at some point. And have 2006 wrx wagon. I was wondering what turbo would be good. How is the VF48? and do i need intake when i get a upgraded turbo?

Any of the STi vf series turbo would be a good/cheap upgrade. Some will say go bigger but we don't know your goals/budget. You don't need an intake unless you went fmic.

VF48 is fine. VF39 is factory sti turbo from 04-07. Then it went to the 48 then to 52 for 09-10 i believe. 52 requires a different TMIC or an FMIC though. 16G, Big 16G, and 18g are all good turbos as well.

Could also get a VF37, some guy put down with a VF37, intake, and exhaust. Anything past 300 is tranny weak point.

52 won't fit GD.
