Unhappy Bird Poop

Right before my car broke some birds decided to take a **** on the hood of my car, it was a light poop and I washed some of it down one down right before I was hurrying for school.

Then my car broke down and I parked it in the garage for about 2 weeks or so. About 10 minutes ago I remembered and I'm starting to panic.

How do I get this **** off my car!? If the clear coat gets messed up, what do I do!?

Thanks guys

....soak the bird droppings with QD. Then I would take a MF towel and dampen that as well and place it over the area. Once the droppings have had enough time to soften, try to lift (more than wipe) the poop up into the towel. Once you get the material off, use a clean towel, re-mist the area with QD and wipe it clean. At that point you can assess the affected area to see what damage may have been caused.

Depending on the severity of the etching (if there is any) products like Meguiars Ultimate Compound and/or Scratch-X may help remove or soften the appearance of the blemish(es). You may need to follow up with something like Meguiars Swirl-X to remove any light hazing from the other polishes. It’s been my experience that UC finishes quite nicely by machine and although it also works well by hand, it can leave some light micro-marring that may need a lighter polish to remove (depending on your sensitivity to such things and the color of the car). ….this was my similar experience with v1 of Scratch-X (but I’m not sure about v2.0).

I'd worry about your broken car before worrying about possible damaged paint
