Default rotella t6

just changed my oil for the second time (first time used valvoline 5w-30)... decided this time to go with rotella t6 5w-40 full synthetic. First impressions..

I like it so far, valve train seems MUCH quiter. no more tapping etc. car seems to run a bit cooler (judging from temp gauge but i think its more placebo effect) I would recommend t6 for anyone lookin for a good oil for a good price. I use rotella in my diesel truck and it seems to like it as well. I will be switching from the 15w-40 to t6 5w-40 in the diesel soon.

walmart has rotella t6 for a great price 19.50 for a gallon round here. only thing that sucks is they don't sell it in quart jugs anywhere so you almost have to buy two gallon jugs to get her full.

Yeah the Rotella T6 is good stuff. You'll notice less oil consumption too compared to other oils. I sent Rotella T6 for used oil analysis after 4000 miles and they said it has plenty more life in it still.

I made the switch to Rotella T6 two weeks ago. So far, so good. I also notice the valve train to be much quieter as well.

Try a different Walmart. My local Walmart sells it by the quart and by the gallon.
