Default jones exhaust resonator?

has anyone heard or used any jones exhaust products? i have custom headers, track pipe and getting a midpipe made and need a resonator to get rid of a little rasp. i had a perfect one but my dad threw it away so i need to find something not so expensive that will work and be good. heres the link the the resonators.

I would use a Thrush Glasspack to cut out rasp in the exhaust the fiberGLASS packing and thicker steel shell well mellow it out nicely.

Plus Thrush is a good name in exhaust

Maybe I'm wrong, but I just kinda figure a resonator is a resonator is a resonator. When my exhaust was getting a bit loud, I just went to Midas/Meineke and had them replace the little resonator on my MRT mid-pipe with the biggest one they could fit in there. Worked like a charm.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn that those Jones' resonators are unpainted Thrush glasspacks.

Go for it, but know that they will tend to get louder over time as the packing breaks down. Make it so it's easily replacable so you can do it again in a couple years.

2.25" is plenty big. You can also go 2.5 or 3" and reduce it back down before and after though....By the time you do that, you'd be up near the cost of a Magnaflow unit.....which is going to last a bit longer anyway.
