I'm having problems with the car thou.. There seems to be something wrong. The car is having problem idling, flashing cel and misfire codes.
I have the feeling there is something wrong with the PE injectors.

Yeah i would agree ^ Would expect to see a good bit more out of the 39 with all those supporting mods. I built a hybrid bugeye at the beginning of this year with stock td04-13t, stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock headers, and stock intercooler and made 264 hp and 343 ft lbs tq. not the best looking curve but holy heck it would break loose on the highway.

Here's the info for your reference:

I was afraid of this, but i guess im a victim too?

I don't feel the car is making the power it suppose to. the dyno numbers are so weak sauce. what ticks me off is, i see guys with just a tbe and some supporting mods and they're making a little over 300awhp. I am not even making that and running methanol.

maybe is the tuned, who knows.

I'm not trying to slam any vendor for the problems. And this is not a vendor review.

I'm simply trying to get my car fixed.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1999698
If you see my other thread i'm just having a bad week with my car.

I spoke to Jon @ HBSpeed and he was very helpful.
We will be swapping out the injectors to see if the tune will be more reliable and see if we can squeeze alittle more power out of the car..
I'm hoping we can get the car running smoothly soon.

Thank you!

The rest of you need to follow suit and quit whining and complaining in here. Some of you have been told this before. This is not the vendor review forum. Its not your thread about your car. Its not your place to bitch, moan, and complain. If you want to discuss the car that is one thing. If you want to start whining about your own car or start slamming vendors you're going to run into problems. Vendor complaints/comments go in the vendor review forum/threads. Issues with your car go in your thread.

Just so everyone knows where their comments went....I deleted them. They don't belong here and only run the thread off-topic.

In reference to the original post, why is boost hitting so late? Looks like full boost is after 4k RPM which is ridiculously laggy for a VF39 on a 2.5l. Of course the torque peak is up at 4500RPM as well, but that's because boost is hitting so late. I would recommend inspecting for boost leaks.

probably a combination of non-avcs heads, different compression ratio, fmic, short ram intake, "prototype" header and 2.5" tapering exhaust

I will check on that. The boost does seem to come in alittle late.
Thanks for the suggestion.

No kind of hardware, no matter how poorly designed, would cause a VF39 to hit full boost after 4k RPM on a 2.5l. Hell, even 2.0's hit around 3600RPM!

Got a retune yesterday and the misfire and stall issue seems to have all gone away.
We resolved the issue by switching out PE injectors for set of deatchwerks 750cc top feed.

Big thanks to Jon and Dannyh for squeezing me in last minute to get a retune done.

Even thou he wasn't able to push more number off the dyno. The car feels much more solid on the street and car comes into full boost much faster.
