"moderation" would dictate avoiding this like the plague.
unless you're taking 3 or 4 days to eat one, it's hard to pass off a "sandwich" that has 90% of the daily amount of saturated fat, almost 70% of the day's fat amount, and nearly half of the day's sodium and cholesterol as anything other than ****ty.

from a nutritional standpoint, it is a disaster.
in fact, it does the word "food" a disservice to be associated w/ this.

now, if you want to take the approach of "I know it's a nutritional black hole but it tastes so good", fine.
then there's at least hope you'll grow out of it.
Well that's the line I'm gonna take. I just get a cheeseburger and fries, though.

If you're up for entertainment, watch the automatic fountain drink dispenser at McDonald's DT malfunction. In theory, you place a drink order at DT and the POS system commands the drink machine to make it, slides it over, then the DT employee puts the lid on it. When something gets off in the timing, it dumps ice/soda out of sequence with the cups, sometimes doesn't drop the cup before dumping ice/soda, is pretty much impossible to figure out what drink order it's supposed to be on (so you can have someone run to the lobby to make it), and seriously ticks off the employees. It takes 15min to reset the system, so resetting it during lunch rush is pretty much out of the question unless you have enough employees to make them run back and forth to the lobby to make drinks for DT. Next time you're stuck in the eternal DT line ask if the drink machine is down.

I hate drivethroughs. Its often faster to park and walk in.

Agreed McD coffee is pretty good. Not the McCafe drinks though; those are loaded with crap.

No, over half the calories are from fat. Still not good of course. I've seen my 50-lb 6-yr-old eat most of one of those Angus burgers. Needless to say, he only get to do that about once a month.

+ 'leventy-billion!

I don't know who they used for test consumers, but they struck out on that hugely! I tried exactly one. I actually got physically ill (I'm diabetic.) I threw out more than half of a "mocha". Two hours later, when I could sit up, I looked up the nutritional info: 400 calories and 49 grams of sugar. For a diabetic (for anyone actually) that is a HUGE amount of sugar. In a standard 8 ounce coffee cup that is 1/4 of the cup full of straight sugar.

Yeah, I tried one I got for free and couldn't finish it. BTW if you have diabetes aren't you supposed to be more careful about checking what is in stuff? My father had diabetes and he was always checking everything.

It just hasn't been used in about 15 years. The Good Times a couple blocks away has them too, but they do it the slightly smarter way and have one on each side of the building. Their food is infinitely better too.

Just makes things more congested and confusing, especially for people who don't know how to drive.
