Default My new garage

My old garage:

new house has a pretty sweet garage setup.....

I have spent the last 10 years doing almost all my automotive work outside, in new england, in the snow in the winter, in the sun, in the rain, flashlights at night, etc.

I deserve this.

3 cars total

The bays have a lot of stuff in them still from moving, and were gonna build a shed to hold the mtn bikes, wheelers, kayaks, lawn mower, and rototiller.

the small garage is pretty small, is holding her grizzly for now.

the main garage was an addition, all thats above it is a huge master bedroom

The work bench cost about $400

it used:

-9 sheets of plywood
-2 16' 2x4's
-10 8' 2x4's
-10 8' pieces of strapping

Its huge and SUPER strong

All my ****ing tires need to find a home

As you're finding, there's never "enough" garage space. I'm currently cleaning out my garage and selling stuff off to help with that effort. Even with a 24x36 garage with a lift, I still need storage space. I plan to pick up a 10x14 steel building for as much crap as I can fit in it......snowmobile, wheels, bicycles, lawn stuff....hmmm....that should fill it.

+1 to Jack's advice, never enough space. I built my last shed and when I need another I will definitely get one of the prebuilt units. They are a good deal and so much easier to deal with.

Congrats on getting out of the elements.

As much as that would be ok with me, I don't think I make enough money to actually pull the trigger. I don't particularly want to spend all the way up to and possibly over my comfort threshold.

yessir. Seems like the only logical thing to do is what you did - buy.
