Default 04 sti struts....

Ok I have searched and searched and I keep getting different answers. So I will ask you guys. My rear struts are garbage, I need new ones.... Bad. So what are my options? I'm thinking about replacing all 4 struts at once. I've been looking at spec D's but have heard they won't fit the 04 sti. Any help?

Solution: TiC's Tokiko Spec-D package.

Two: struts, adjustment extenders, bump-stops and Scooby921 spacers.

Get wrx donor struts and do koni inserts, get some com c strut tops, and keep your stock springs. That's about $768 + an alignment if you shop around

Great, thanks guys. One more thing. I have swift springs right now and I don't like how the rear looks lower than the front. Will the saggy but spacers work with the tociko's?

you can use the struts off of an sti from 04 to 07. that would be the cheapest. also do the grease zerk mod before you install the new ones.

Please stop posting on the internet about suspension questions. You live 33 minutes from www.turninconcepts.com, which is arguably the finest suspension vendor on NASIOC and perhaps the finest place in the history of the world. Turn off your computer and DRIVE there and and ask questions for 9 hours, then buy. If I give you crappy advice you can't punch me in the face, if TiC gives you bad advice, you can. I appeal to your common sense and hope you see this is the best advice you have ever received.

if you could read thoroughly you would see that I do NOT live in FRANKLIN OHIO I live in FRANKLIN FURNACE OHIO. I would love to take the drive to
Fairfield which is 3 hours away. I just assumed asking a group of my peers that would have likely faced the same problem as me in the past would be able to direct me in the right direction, instead of jumping in my car and driving from suspension shop to suspension shop....but what do I know?

It's your car and you can do with it as you wish, but not utilizing the resource I have given you is a terrible idea. Your "peers" here CANNOT help you as we don't know:

Your budget
Your car's use
Your desires
Your height requirements (if any)

So without this information, any advice given is just as correct as the other from Tein S techs to raising it up Grave Digger style. The internet is great for BACKGROUND research, the final trigger pull should be made with careful decision and professional advice. I wish you well and hope you take my advice for what it is...advice.
