Default Tail Light Tint - DFW?

Any recommendations on who does Tail Light tinting using film or vinyl? I don't want them sprayed in case I have to pull it off. I've tried doing it myself, while the result looks okay, I think i'd like to get it done professionally (someone who isn't going to leave any bubbles).

Any recommendations in the DFW area? Many of the tint shops claim they don't do it.

Alta mere in NRH installed mine a few years back. I want to say it cost me $20-$40. Might be worth a shot.

Just FYI that no tint/film is legal in the state of TX anymore.

Yup, most of the places I called wouldn't do it. Even if I said it was a show car for offroad use (trying to relieve their liability).

Any idea if getting them sprayed is okay?

Paint would probably.fall under the same.laws. It all depends on the officer and how they are feeling.

Any alteration to the OEM tail or headlights will result in a fail for state inspection because it will void the DOT certification.

Alta Mere off 183 did mine about 6 months ago. I just had red tail light overlays put on which look more OEM than the ugly altezzas the hatches come with stock. I believe he charged $25 a light, they look great.

You can order them off a couple websites they are vary easy to put on. Just buy you some canned window cleaner from walmart. Clean the tail light with the window cleaner, then spray the light and the sticky side. Line it up then spray the non sticky side and squeegy out the Bubbles then use a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive. Takes about 10-15 minutes.
