Default have some questions regarding maintenance

ok so i read the maintenance faq sheet and ive still got some questions...

for my coolant it says i need approximately 8.1 US qt of collant... now am i going to mix that entire bottle 50/50 water? or use 8.1 qts of coolant and water already mixed?

also brake fluid... how much of it do I buy because I am going to stop by the subaru dealership to pick up the oem coolant and brake fluids... also should i buy the coolant conditioner? if so how many qt?

For the coolant you need to buy ~4 qt of concentrate OR ~8qt of premixed.

If your dealer does not sell premixed, then buy ~4qt of distilled water to mix with that concentrate.

Yes you also need that small bottle of conditioner

IMO, brake fluid is cheap - just buy one large bottle and you'll be fine. I've never actually checked to see if I could get away with one small bottle. I think I could, but not worth the risk for saving a couple of bucks.

ok one more question on the FAQ for coolant

What about a DIY coolant flush? There are generally three ways to perform this:
a. After the system is drained, many fill up the radiator with regular or distilled water alone. Then heat cycle, cool, and drain.

how many times do i do that until i fill the radiator up for good.

I don't flush the coolant, simply drain as per manual and let it sit. I've done my coolant 4 times and I'm at approximately 100k, no rad leaks and temperature is well within tolerance range.
