Default MAPerformance turbo FRS

Hey guys! This car has been done for a couple of months now, but I thought I would post up the results in here as well. Car is my own daily 2013 FRS (or BRZ of you are sensitive to those things

Location: MN
Dyno: Dynojet
Weather: cold at the time, about 27 degrees
Fuel: 93oct
Numbers: 322whp, 254wtq
Baseline: 168whp, 138wtq
Boost: 11.5psi
Transmission: stock 6 speed/Comp stage 3 clutch
Gear: 4th

Currently running our stage 1 base kit:
Precision 4854 journal bearing
UEL manifold
2.5" downpipe
2.5" overpipe
2.5" front pipe
3" cat-back
Turbosmart Compgate 40 waste gate
Turbosmart Raceport BOV
Grimmspeed MBC
FIC 1100's
DW65
MAP oil pan
Competition Clutch stage 3

So far the car has been running great! Still very easy to drive, and still feels pretty much like stock if you want it to, but can easily turn beastly with throttle Boost comes on full around 4400 RPM's, but seems to be around 4k on the street. The small 4854 is pretty much maxed out at this point on pump gas. We will be trying E85 at some point before we swap it for a 5858.

Haha, we are slacking in the driving vid department, but that will happen soon! But you pretty much nailed it on the head. It really is the perfect street power for a 2700 lb car, without loosing any of the cars know "balance". Its still very predictable, but enough power to get your adrenaline going Here is at least a short dyno vid when we were testing waste gate pressure.

Wow, that header does look awesome. How are IATs with the post-IC cold side piping that close to the turbo?

Looks like it's over the cold side, and those blankets work wonders anyway.

That is correct! That is why we routed it that way. IAT's seem to be fine. We will see once the humidity and heat comes into play this summer.

Cool, I noted the routing over the cold side and wasn't trying to imply they would be high. Just curious if any impact being in such close quarters.

No worries, your inquiry is totally valid. It was a concern for us during the design process.
