Cool My car made me smile today

I pulled into a parking lot between two buildings and the echo of my exhaust set of the alarm on a 530i.

I love when that happens...

You should have heard my wagon about a year back with a non resonated centerpipe and and a bosal twin tip axleback with (2) 4"dia tips. I was able to set off alarms more than my turbo buddies on my local board.

Now, my current system (which I have issue with and posted in another thread) uels, trackpipe, resonated centerpipe and turboxs axleback, I can set off alarms from quite a distance away. It's fun and also quite annoying at times. As every once in a while an alarm will go off as I pass and scare the crap out of me LOL!

But yes, fun if the conditions are right, especially if in a parking garage, that's when the fun can really start!

My old RX-7 would set off alarms 3 and 4 aisles over in the parking lot of Wal-Mart... and this was just starting it.

BTW, turbo cars are generally quieter than NA cars given otherwise equal exhaust setups. The turbo is a restriction in the exhaust and has a slight muffling effect.

^^ Agreed, my N/A with my current system is quiet louder than alot of the turbo guys I know, however, they burble is 10x more sexier than my uel setup. The turbo adds to that sexy sleek burble.
