Default Knock Sensor Part Number

I asked this in FFI, but noone seemed to know, so hopefully one of you guys can help me out. I'm looking for the manufacturer's part number of either the stock sensor or the more sensitive knock sensor that seems to be used commonly with the Knocklink. I'm trying to find a datasheet for the sensor, so if anyone can provide me with a part number (manufacturer's, not Subaru) for the sensor, or a datasheet, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Mike

Not sure, but I think the Link uses a Bosch sensor. There are several different Bosch numbers, but the most common one is 0261231006. They list for around $90. It has a molded fuel injection style connector.

It's a low output, untuned, two wire sensor. For best results, it should be used with a twisted, shielded pair cable. One of the wires is typically grounded at the ECU, the other is the signal. Saab, BMW, and Porsche use it. We use it in our RX7 application.

The Subaru uses a similar sensor, but one of the pins is internally grounded to the case of the sensor. This simplifies the installation to one wire, although it is still shielded.

Don't have the part number, but it looks the same as a sensor from a Maxima that a customer sent in for inspection. Here's a link to a search result for "knock sensor part number" at maxima.org:

Thanks. Now I just need to dig up a datasheet for it.

It's a piezo ceramic microphone with flat response to 15kHz, output is 20mv/g into 1 Mohm.
