Default intermittent Check Engine light & fuel pump noise

Hello everyone. I have some questions regarding my '02 OBS. It has 105K and is bone stock.

It was running kind of poorly while the weather was hot and humid a few days ago. Bogging at low rpm and occasionally idling low/rough. The Check Engine light went on and off intermittently for a few days. Never cut out or had trouble starting though.

The fuel pump was making an intermittent buzzing noise during this time. I removed the access panel to check and it definitely was the pump. One thing I noticed is that if I rolled up the windows the pump would not buzz. If the windows were already rolled up all the way and I would lift the window switches, the electrical system would bog down and the pump would run quietly until I let go of the switches.

Since the weather cooled off the Check Engine light has not turned on and the fuel pump has stopped making noise.

It is supposed to be 90* this weekend so I will see what happens. In the mean time I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or advice for me.

Thanks

Advice: Get the code read, then come back. Reporting a CEL without a code is like visiting the doctor and saying you just don't feel right.

Thanks for the advice.

Scan shows codes P0303 and P0304. Misfire in cylinders 3 and 4.

Well, the weather is not as hot as the forecast said and the car is running good. Which is totally cool. It's been a while since I've had a modern car and I'd forgotten how sweet on-board diagnostics can be. I know that the codes aren't always the answer to the problem but it sure is convenient when it works. I'm going to be replacing the timing belt and giving it a general tune up soon. So I'll be checking and cleaning whatever is possible. Guess I'll check back then if anything comes up. If anyone has any more info or advice for me in the mean time I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks
