Default 07 STi 3071 423awhp/430awtq on e85 Tuned by ATS

One of our clients recently brought his car in to the shop for some custom fuel system upgrades and a retune on E85. He's got big plans for next year. I wager he will have the nastiest street driven STi in ohio.
2.7 Stroker.

[Nasioc pastable section below]
Car: 2007 STi
Tuner: Applied Tuning Solutions
Dyno Info: Dynojet
Peak HP at RPM: SAE 423AWHP @ 5600-6500
Peak Torque at RPM: 430AWTQ @ 4200
Baseline hp/tq for a stock on same dyno: 170awhp/170awtq stock 03wrx
Target Boost: 22.5
Target AFR:
Fuel: Mobile E85 (Liquid Awesome)
Engine/Power Modifications: 3inch exhaust / GT3071 / Spearco TMiC / 1100cc injectors / Custom Fuel system by PTM / Cobb AP

We are out of injector@85%. It also looks like the TMIC is restricting us. Next year 500+

Nice numbers man!!!

Just wondering, what is needed to have the the nastiest street driven STi in Ohio?

U guys stop the runs early because of the injectors?

that is the beauty of running e85--the cooling effect on the intake charge and combustion temps, and egt's.

thanks guys

i do want to get it to the track sometime soon. its kinda difficult since i work evenings. never been on a track before, i'm hoping for a 11.8-11.9, if it has a good driver.

ATS said the tmic is limiting the car right now. (and im still on the stock block)

egt temps went down 50 degrees during normal cruising.

yes be careful the stock clutch won't take too many aggressive launches with that trq and how fast it comes on boost due to the e85.

What do you think it will trap? I think it will trap in the 122-124 range

how is 85% IDC out of injector? wussy

And the spearco isnt a restriction....

I run the spearco with a dom4xtr and make 100whp more than this car....

Running e85 you could probably run no intercooler and still make the same power.

What signs were you seeing that made you think the spearco was a restriction?

i think the 3071 is the restriction....

I'm going to have to agree! I don't see any reason why the spearco would be the restriction with those numbers and E85...

Yup, the spearco is bad-ass & not the problem

Looks decent but needs more boost IMHO, especially on E85. 25psi and a bit more IDC and you're set!

Everyone always talks about "conservative" tunes, and now we finally have one and nobody mentions it.

^^ 22.5 psi maybe a little "conservative" down low....but i doubt this turbo is gonna hold much more than that at redline.

upping the peak boost on this car will probably not really effect peak hp since peak boost is at 4000rpm and peak hp is at 6500rpm

Because as we continued to increase boost it leveled out on power no matter what. I could be wrong but it looked like that. and were very careful to not push client cars to the aboslute edge. It's good numbers and the clients happy.
