Exclamation Heavily modified new age STI

Found this in a recent thread on ScoobyNet:
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=104146
many more pics there.

Interesting things about this car:
the JUN 2.2L kit
the reversed intake manifold
apparently converted from RHD to LHD???
errr, well... pretty much everything about it is pretty crazy

that's a lot of money...

SeanH does not mess around! That car is some serious ****. I love the reverse manifold for the front mount IC, thats just so sweet, and the piping is so much shorter and doesn't have to make that 180 degree bend anymore. Thanks fore posting pics

Okay, booking first-class flight to Taiwan now.

God I miss Taiwan. Know I'll be going back next summer in hoping the GDA/GDB would be available.

Anyway, how many members here are from Taiwan?

Cool

That whole car is a sexy beast. The engine is like a huge wet dream! I'd love to have one of those on a nice snowy, twisty road...

I'm a little confused....from the post at scoobynet.com, Sean said all they did to the manifold was to turn it around? and all the holes fit with some modification to the belt and the compressor? If that's how it is, that amazing. What are the chances that it'll damange our WRX if we did that?

h2o, how's the pic of your friend's STi back in Taiwan? Or is that STi your friend's.....

I saw that there are some custom rally cars with manifolds like that... I think they get them from defunct prodrive rally cars, or have them custom made.
