That helps actually and stupid me for not Searching. I still think I have an antenna that will work. Can you Pm me a pic of the mast, and the base separately? (Meaning take the antenna mast off and shoot pics of each piece.)

Thanks!

Is there a reason why the "stealth catback exhaust" was removed from your site? Also thumbs up for that $620 price for the sport tip; might have to jump on that instead.

Application 2004 WRX Sedan

EDIT: looked up a couple of posts and saw that you discontinued it

It may come back! Working on some options right now that can continue the part, keep the prices down and clients happy!

We might still miss your order, but we always listen to client feedback.

Thanks again!

I've been an Evo guy but my next car will be a 2011 WRX. The ricer in my likes the quad-tip exhaust...the Perrin is a single. Is that mostly to save weight? I like the sound but kinda would like to keep the 4-tips.

Cool, thanks for the info. I check your website a lot so I'll just keep a lookout for the 2011 h/b section to grow. I'm still a month (or two) out from getting the car so I have time. Cheers.

Default Do you need to tune your car with a BOV

I am looking at my next purchase and wondering if the your recirc BOV need to have a new map and if the adjustment can be pretty much be done by yours truly or do I need a mechanic who will need to adjust my idle or anything like that? I am not looking at getting any attention with my BOV just want to have another PERRIN product under the hood!

HI! Our recirc BOV does not need a tune and you should be able to install it all by yourself! The installation instructions are located on our website. Check em out HERE!

This was a question I was wondering, though added I got a stage 2 with CAI. Chris was great help on makeing sure he got all my parts for the tune and it runs great now...even if a little load

My next few parts are the BOV, larger TMIC, and lightwieght crank pully. Same question if I did all these install next at the same time would I need a new tune? I'm looking to keep it in the STAGE 2 kit rang on engine mods for now until it's paid off.

I've been told that the only thing really needed to hit my 300WHP target at this point is an intake with a tune. I'm curious if you guys have any dyno results comparing a particular configuration with stock intake vs. something like your short-ram intake?

I want to install a wideband probe on my car, what is the best place to put the Bung for the UEGO sensor on the DP?

On your car, you don't need a different tune, you car will fun great with a stage 2 map and the BOV, TMIC, and pulley.

I'm sorry, I don't have any intake dyno sheets handy right now, but we have seen a 10-15 WHP difference when installing our intake. With a custom protune, a little more!

Usually you will want to install a wideband sensor in the downpipe before a cat. Prosport recommends installing their sensor 36 inches after the turbo, but every manufacturer is different. Double check the instructions for your kit before you do the install.

What kind of deal/discount could I get on your 04 sti stealth/black fmic setup? I saw it for 1200 at one time, and I was saving up for it, now its back to 1600.

Johnny, hope you're enjoying you new downpipe! We don't make a heat shield, but any heat shield that is designed for an aftermarket downpipe will work. The OEM heat shield will work too, you will have to cut it to fit.

Default dumb question...

I just installed the DP and CAI on my car with the appropriate map.

When I press the throttle, I can hear my car breathe and when I shift, I can hear a Phisss that I never hear before and I am still using the stock BOV.

Is this due to the DP or the CAI?

Thanks for the purchase and the post!

What you are hearing is the BOV. It now is audible through the intake system. nothing is wrong and enjoy the sound!

Thanks again!

J-5,

I would hold off on buying the the Perrin Cat-back exhaust for your 08-10 WRX sedan. I bought mine in April and the exhaust tips stick out at different lengths (over 1 inch difference). Perrin sent me out another full Cat-back (shortly after the first one) and it has the same problem. Both were professionally installed. As of last week (5 months later), Perrin is still saying that they are working on a fix. At this point I would rather return it for a refund rather than wait for the fix
