Quick question here, I had my End link Kits installed last week and since then, I am hearing some knocking noise from the front end of the car when my car comes to a halt or when I start moving. This only happens in those circumstances.
Once I am rolling no sounds and also when turning all is fine.
Is this normal since there are no rubber bushings? This is very annoying from a car that was rattle free.

I have also sent this question to Tech Support with a picture of the installed kit

I don't have Perrin endlinks but have had similar issues before, if the geometry is correct then this problem is usually solved by tightening everything up (even if you have to go a little past torque spec).

I have to say, you guys rock! Working for a company where Customer Sat is a priority, you guys offer world class service.

Within an hour, I had emails going back and forth with your team and I think we are coming to a resolution and a shipment will be made from you to resolve my problem.

I sure made the right decision when I chose to deal exclusively with PERRIN for tuning my STI.

Hopefully I will be back on track within a few days.

We don't advertise them for A/T models although some people have used them successfully.

If you purchase the AP from PERRIN it does come with the map you need! No problem!

Actually your site says it works for an 08-10 WRX. They made an auto on 08, so you should probably clarify on the site that it doesn't work on the auto. That way people won't wait to but a part that they can't use, out worse, order a part they can't use. You specify a stage 1 is for manual only. Also, what is the reason you can't use it, cobb's works on both.

Circlek, The AP we sell actually does work on the Automatic transmission cars, we just don't have PERRIN maps available for those cars.

The PSP-EXT-221R downpipe does fit the 08 + autos. I'm not aware of anyone testing a PSP-EXT-225 though on their 08+ though. It's very rare for a customer to put a downpipe on an auto we've never tried it!

I have a 2011 STI on the way. Im never crazy about stock ride height and since everything is new, I dont want to rip out the suspension for coilovers. Are there any springs that are actually built around the specs of the 2011 yet? I know they stiffened the suspension greatly over last year and I dont want to get a spring for last year's model if it is not setup for the dampening of the 2011. Thanks!

Thanks for the post.

We work with H&R for our springs and coil overs. If, after testing they think it needs to be a new spring rate, it will be. But I'm willing to bet it will stay the same part number, actually I would be surprised if any company had a 2011 specific spring.

We will announce as soon as we find out.

PS, I just check and we have shipped some 2011 customers the same part number as the 2010 and got nothing but good feedback.

If you could let me know of any feedback or personal experience you have with them, I would love to hear it. The last thing I want to do is swap out to something that will make the ride softer for the STI. I would like to make it feel like factory but drop it .5". Thanks again! I will post up parts installed once the car arrives! It wont make it through one day without Perrin parts in it

Thanks for asking! No tuning is required with the rails alone. If you add larger injectors then yes tuning would be required.
