Here's my input:

Get the same gains for a good 80 bucks less.

Yeah, it's all in there. If you look at the most recent pages, there's plenty of stuff in there telling you how to do it.

It doesn't take rocket science to build a hybrid. All that you're doing is replacing the accordion pipe and torque box with a smooth aluminum pipe.

Ummm Im pretty sure in those last few pages there is a link to what intake to buy. And a picture of how its put together. If you cant figure it out from there you probably shouldnt be attempting the build.

And you dont need to mouth off. He was just trying to help ......

This guy was the same way on another thread he started with header wrapping. I was like spend a few minutes searching.. He's like wahh wahh I can't find it.. 2 mins looking I linked him about 20 threads on header wrapping where he said there was none. The whole point of this forum is not to start a new thread every time you have a simple basic question about common things. Search and use the right forums peeps.. this has gone way down hill since I first joined the first time in 02. / rant

I'm just saying it's the same deal as last time. This brand intake has been around for a few years. There are just minor tweaks to make it MY specific.. plus you have an 07..again, the search shows a number of threads talking about it. You just have to look it up man! I'm not even going to get into the whole intake debate.. I had the regular, I had the hybrid I had the CAI and s ram... In the last year.. I put it back to stock and was most pleased with that.

To simplify this thread, I think that is an excellent intake. It's cold-air so that is good. Not sure about the filter itself. May want to change that out for a K&N or something else. Otherwise, It looks good. If the tubing diameter is the same as your throttle body diameter, go for it. Good luck with it!

As for intake threads, just imagine how many I have read through. I still remember the first intake thread here at NASIOC (Then I-Club) which was the Turn3 intake. It was just a friggin air filter and we all were excited about it. I purchased one! So don't be frustrated too much folks!

What gets frustrating is when somebody starts a new intake thread when there are already 4 other threads about it in the First 2 pages of the forum. Seeing those doesn't even involve the search function...it just involves scrolling. Not bashing here as it happens in all enthusiast forums...just adding insight.

To be more involved: Search "cosmo" and you will find a good writeup I did about the cosmo sri that I purchased that includes the good, bad, pretty, and ugly. Now I know you're looking at the cai, but it's the same company and you will most likely run into the same issues regarding hardware that I did

I don't know if you are trying to be a smartass, but you're welcome.
