Default PDE vs. Godspeed Downpipe

Which downpipe is better? Godspeed has the large bellmouth for the wastegate. PDE looks like the stock wastegate style. I have heard that PDE quality may not be as good. Any CEL issues with PDE? Finnaly, HP differance, does one produce more?
Thanx

Also HKS is comming out with there DP in the next few months, has anyone seen there design?

Get the P.D.E down pipe. The quality is top notch. Have you seen there stuff in real life? The welds look great! Plus they have the best aftermarket customer service I've ever seen.

I just put my PDE downpipe in today......the welds are top notch and the fit of the pipe was perfect no problems what-so-ever.......I would definately recommend this downpipe ( I have a godspeed up-pipe that i'm not to happy with due to the welds being very bad, and crap still left in the pipe when it was sold to me that I can't remove without a heavy duty sander of some sort) trust me go with the pde......Beautiful piece of pipe oh and did I mention the welds???? Like I said beautiful

I have the godspeed downpipe......
No probs with fit, finish nothing.....
And in a real life test, it dropped me from a 13.7 to a 13.3.....

Godspeed doesn't exactly have a bellmouth design. They try to copy Cusco, but it's a extremely bad imitation.

The PDE is not complete bellmouth either, if you actually go back and read this original post about the PDE, it still blocks the wastegate...... and also no one was able to tell me how this pipe didnt send a CEL.

What is it with everybody hating Dan at Godspeed... YES.. he does make a good product, whether you would like to admit it or not. He is only trying to help us Imprezas out by making a DP cheaper than most that still gives the same HP numbers and no CEL. If you got one of his products with Warped flanges or it leaks air etc etc.. then Im sure he is sorry and would do anything to remedy it, but.. you must remember he does not actually fabricate the product.. nor Im sure does he have a WRX sitting somewhere to make sure everyone fits everytime. So if you dont like his pipe.. keep your mouth shut.. its not his fault.. blame the guy who welds em.

Flame on.

I do my best to constantly improve the product. The flange problem has been solved and we are working on making sure no one has a problem with the rest of the pipe. The bracket is impossible to fit perfectly on every car since iit appears Subaru has some very loose tolerances or different part numbers on the hanger bracket. Anyway, if anyone has a problem we will do our best to remedy the situation. We gaurantee the welds for the lifetime of the car, There is no CE light with our downpipe and we have hand ported each one to assure max flow and no disturbance of the wastegate. Everything is 304 stainless including flanges and bung and all welds and flanges are checked before leaving here.

Not bad. Given a choice between PDE or Godspeed, I'd choose Godspeed.

However, given a choice of *any* downpipe, I might pick TurboXS, or maybe wait and see how the Vishnu downpipe turns out.

By the way, I like how this pic shows the catalyst in the O2 bung:

It's a great way to ensure CEL free operation.

i have the godspeed uppipe sitting in my room right now and a downpipe on the way to me! By looking at the uppipe, Dan knows what hes doing. The welds are very good and the overall quality is great. Also, great customer service too!!

Leo dont think the Greddy and HKS switch will have any fitment issues since they both end at the donut gasket.
