Default Sharpie Touch-up!

Sharpie's rock! so far I've touched up the following with Sharpie markers:
  • 02-03 WRX dash trim - touched up a small nick with Silver sharpie
  • Megan coilovers - touched up small nicks from tools scratching the red anodization with Red sharpie.
  • Edges of various CF trim - sometimes the edges on CF gets sorta hazy, I just black it out with a Black sharpie!

Yes, true true!

I've use black sharpies to touch up those spots on interior dash/trim that get nicked. Damn my cheap hard plastic interior...

I painted my stockers black, and when I don't feel like re doing them, I just cover the little chips with the black sharpie.

I actually have used Sharpies on my exterior

Before:

After:

Sure it looks purple, but from a few feet away you barely notice it...either way it looks better than bare metal.

**This is only temporary, I am planning to powder coat them or just repaint them once this snow/rain stops**

Like I said, just a touch up for a few more weeks if that, its already been rained on, snowed on, and still looks black enough. It was cracked when winter started and as the season progressed it started to flake off, I hated the bare metal so until I can properly redo them this is what I'm using. Plus this is sharpie, it didn't get any darker when I tried going over the areas I missed.

Does anyone think that sharpies will work in exterior chips?

Like the OP says, better than bare metal, but I would get a touch up pen from Subaru.

A friend of mine used a red sharpie to fix rock chips on his red Z3 until he could get it fixed correctly. From about 3 feet away you honestly couldn't tell. Traded it in about 2 months later instead of getting it resprayed and they never said anything about it.

I used a Sharpie to touch up some spots on my STI's cheap, black interior plastic. If you're careful it'll help the scratches that stick out the most to blend in. It's ghetto but I can guarantee 99% of your passengers won't notice your little ghetto-mod.
