Question Starts with clutch out only

I have a 97 Outback Sport that I recently put a 03 wrx transmission into. Had to switch it over from wire to hydraulic clutch. Everything works fine and feels great...but. The car will only start with the clutch out, not pressed in. I tired switching the two wires on the clutch pedal sensor, someone at Firestone told me to do that. I didn't think it would matter since there are only two wires and they just need to make contact to work, it did not change a thing.
Just wondering if there is any other sensor that controls that? I have switched around the sensors on top of the transmission near the bell-housing on the passenger side. Still nothing.
It doesn't really bother me that much, I always leave it in neutral and check before I ever start the car anyways, just a habit. Though starting the car from just reaching in through the window is sort of neat and easy. But I am concerned if someone else tries to start it and doesn't take it out of gear first. I tired searching on Google and here to see if anyone has had the same issue, but it looks like no one has.

Thanks for you help in advance.

The clutch switch is a N.O switch, , switching them wont make a diff, just repl it, or loop the wires together
