How is your coolant level? Has the thermostat ever been replaced?

actually, it doesnīt have a thermostat. The coolant keeps "evaporating". I know my radiator is messed up, could THAT be my problem source?

Your post raises many questions

Why don't you have a thermostat?

How is your radiator messed up?

Evaporating. Please elaborate. If your coolant evaporates, how fast does it evaporate? Do you smell coolant in your vents while driving (recirculation off)? Do you see puddles where you park? Are any parts wet with coolant? If not, then you shouldn't be losing so much that fast.

Is your coolant properly topped off? Engine cold, heater turned all the way up, uncap radiator, start car, fill whenever the neck is low.

As far as I know, coolant goes nowhere near the tranny/gearbox. The ATF is cooled directly by the tranny cooler integrated into the radiator.

By just reading your post tho, it sounds like a bad waterpump.

I didnīt come with a thermostat. Here in Honduras, we donīt tend to worry about it that much, so I havenīt bought one. The radiator has been repaired many times, and has some cells missing. So it appears to me it, it doesnīt cool properly. I canīt say for sure. It doesnīt smell like coolant whatsoever, and no puddles have appeared. And I havenīt tried toping it off with the heater on. the rest, I do pay attention to. I really hope it isnīt a bad waterpump, but tomorrow I will take it to the shop. I will keep you posted just in case.
